OK... First things first.

Happy Birthday Tracy!

It is my littlest sister's birthday!! And while she doesn't look like this picture to my right anymore, this is one of my favorite pictures of her.

Tracy turns 27 today. WOW. 27. For some reason, I just can't believe that she is that old. Not that you're OLD Tracy, but wow.

Happy Birthday, dear sister. You have one of the biggest hearts I've ever known... and you have an amazingly wonderful family that loves you... don't you ever ever forget it. I've watched you grow up, and I've never been more proud of you. You are an inspiration and the picture of STRENGTH. I love you, and I'm proud to be your sister. You BETTER have a wonderful day.

Mandarin Pixie

There's a new little stamp company out there... it's called Mandarin Pixie. My sweet and fun friend Jen opened it up just last month. And she was kind enough to ask me to be on her very first design team. I am honored to work with such a great person... and she's in my town! woo hoo!!

So here is the first official Design Team page I did for Mandarin Pixie.

Journaling:
The other day, during breakfast, you started counting: "1... 2... 3..." then you tensed up your little body and face and said something that sounded like: "I want a CHIP!" It wasn't until you did this a few times, did your Daddy and I realize you were saying: "I'm a ROCKETSHIP!"

Altered Stamp Tin

This is my first ever attempt at "altering" something. I took a tin we got some starbucks coffee and cookies in for Christmas and turned it into a stamp tin. Whatcha think? Is it ok? I'm still getting used to it...

I took the basic grey rubons and put them right onto the painted chipboard letters. I have to admit... I wanted to scream GENIUS!! when I thought of that... lol. I do like the way they turned out.

You Know You Scrap When

One last thought... you know you scrap when you see an album cover and think... hmmm that would make some COOL patterned paper. Tee hee.

Wouldn't You Know?

The little birthday boy is sick. I was going to do a whole gwen stefani/connor's birthday post tonight, but I don't see that happening with my sick little guy.

His birthday was GREAT... and Connor had a wonderful time. But just at the tail end, he started coughing pretty hard... and by last night, he was full blown sick. Jon took today off, to take care of him... so I'll be home with a husband tonight, which means no blogging for me ;)

But there will be pictures of Connor on his big birthday, a look at the surprise my sweet peas did for Connor on his special day, pics of me looking "pimp fresh" for Gwen (that was from Tracy), and also for Tracy, the tale of the interesting little girl next to me at the concert.

So I'll leave you this morning with a little birthday love for Miss JenJ... Happy Birthday Sweetie! I hope it's FABULOUS :)

You Can't Be Me...

I'm A ROCK STAR!!!

OK. Stop laughing. Seriously. Stop it. You need to focus on reading. Are you finished, Mr. Laughy McLaughs-A-Lot? OK.

This, gentle reader, is for my dear sweet friend Erin. She is a kick ass scrapper... a wonderful friend... a great online-scrap shopping buddy... a confidante... my long lost sister. I swear... we've got ESP. Ask her. She'll tell you.

Anyway... TODAY IS HER BIRTHDAY!!! And so, all of us goofball scrappers at 2peas made her these goofy-ass collages of ourselves. See Erin? I am making a fool of myself on the internet for you!

I made myself into my alter-ego: a ROCK STAR. And I used the song lyric from an N.E.R.D. song... and just went from there.

So Happy Birthday Erin! You deserve much happiness and love on your special day. :)
